It is a nursery rhyme type poem for adults about a "witch" and a painter....
She found a man with a piece of paper and pen
out of curiosity she stopped to see this new trend
it was a beautiful sight to see
he was drawing the people head to feet
an angry lady she was
but an open mind came today because
he pulled her out of the crowd
everyone ooed and awed so loud
he could draw anything he had ever seen
he could even draw the things he imagined and dreamed
As she walked to the center of the stage
everyone quickly recognized her evil face
some thought she was a witch or Satan in the flesh
others say she is misunderstood only angry at her best
he studied her face, he studied her eyes
he looked at her hair, even looked at her thighs
he look through the mask and saw a beautiful soul
he ripped off her cloak and showed the world what no one knows
she was a beautiful girl underneath the anger and distrust
so now drawing her was a must
after her embarrassment she quickly ran away
she was all he could think about day after day
he tried to draw the simplest form of her
but he couldn't muster up anything but a blur
after only a week he found the so called witch
sat down and tried to talk to her just real quick
she wouldn't talk just ran away
but suddenly she stopped to turn around and say
just leave me alone and unhappy
he said I cant your the only thing stopping me
I haven't ever seen or imagined anything I could not draw
but your face has stopped me like a brick wall
there is no detail to show the pain in your eyes
no paint to color them as bright as the skies
I can draw the most beautiful face
but next to yours its only a disgrace
the whitest smile that no one sees
I have drawn women, I have drawn the trees
I have traveled across the seas
and you have been here forever, my defeat
but I am a very sore loser that's why i have taken this seat
I can not leave til i get it all right
I am staying here even if it takes all night
but the pain and depth on your face
only make me want to estimate my stay
I think it will take an eternity to get it exactly like you
so an eternity I have to find out the truth
No one wants to be alone
Everyone smiles when they know they are home
you are no different I can tell
You just need an artist to bring you back from hell
and I am here
I will paint the world for you far and near
She smiled with a wishful eye
shook her head yes and began to cry
they sailed away on the roughened seas
to create a painting that now the whole world will see
I fell in love with a painter he stole my heart
the only man that ever saw past the dark
it took an eternity to get it right
and now that he is gone I stare at it every night
at the only painting he never did complete
It was just a painting of the dark demented me.
