A THANK YOU PRAYER

His hand is waiting to help us up -

As I prepare for bed and my needed sleep,
there's one thing that just can not keep.
On bended knee, a thank you prayer
will be said, for my Heavenly Father's care.

I was sick and feeling pretty low this week,
life seemed to darken, really bittersweet.
It wasn't until I asked the Lord above
that I received His healing and His love.

It's not the first time He answered my plea,
when I went to Him on my bended knee.
There were times when things got rough
and I really had troubles - quite enough!

Divine intervention, I have silently prayed,
I felt His love and my fears began to fade..
Drowning in sorrow, lost and feeling alone,
I begged for mercy, God, take me Home!

Over the years I prayed and answers came,
I sometimes took it for granted, all the same.
So tonight, I will remember to thank Him
for all the good He's given me to start again.

Thank you, God, you healed, my life is complete.
I will no longer feel the bitter pain or such defeat.
I just put my trust in Him, that's all I had to do,
I will say a thank you prayer because it is due.

PRAISE GOD!
