have you ever loved someone even though you knew they were dangerous?
Beautiful stranger

so dear to me you are

you tell me its alright

but its oh so very wrong

I could risk a kiss

on those perfect lips,

and knowing all along

your jagged teeth

lie just beneath

the mask that you put on.

Beautiful stranger

you pass en masquerade

I might have seen you once before,

and yet, I am afraid

to let my dark eyes

see past your disguise.

my trust already frayed...

I am entranced,

your poison danced

like blood inside my veins.

Beautiful stranger

what a lovely rotten lie.

an almost longing passing glance,

we're strangers, you and I.

who are you?

and how do you

seem to pull tears from my eyes?

I've found my heart downtrodden,

and I seem to have forgotten

that we are only strangers, you and I.
