A poem dedicated to my love when we parted for uninevitable reasons.
Time is passing around me,
and yet,
I cannot move.

Stuck as a single essence,
a soul.
Lost in a hollow groove.

A hole between life and death,
and love.
The three destructions of men…

Fluttering ghosts whisper,
telling me to follow closely.
The gates of hell are open.

His smile fades drastically from my memories,
All that remains.
Just a shadow left broken.

The hole is changing and moving,
like everything else.
And yet I’m still here…

A dance of pain is in the air,
A friend and foe of love.
We're all wishing they were not so close.

My lover, my friend, my angel of choice,
Your heart in your eyes,
and your laugh means the most.

It’s closing in on me,
the pain, guilt and despair;
maybe you were right- maybe I won’t get anywhere…

I’m falling down,
farther from my heart.
Farther from you.

I’ll close my eyes and feel drifting,
similar to an elevator shaft.
Going down and down and down.

Toward hell I fall,
toward the devil himself.
Someone so different from you…

They’re all so different from you…

The thunder will pound on me,
the rain coming down.
My lonely, lovely Rain.
