Short poem that can be taken as a human or star's POV. Reviews anticipated :)
…It’s when he looks at her like she’s the most important, brightest, shining star in the universe that I get most fiery…

…I mean, I know it would take about a million light years for him to notice me, and even if he did it would be too late…

…But, like some kind of Morse code she sends him whispered messages in the darkness and at times I can translate, though I don’t understand…

…Sometimes it feels like I can’t breathe, like there’s no oxygen left in the atmosphere and I suffocate on intoxicating nothingness…

…I flicker envious gazes and in my mind’s eye I imagine him exploding, his dusty ashes creating a black hole that she just can’t evade, and then, only then, do I no longer have to face their passionate heat again...

…Oh, why can’t someone look at me like that? Like I behold more than just a sunny surface, look at me and see me…

Please, notice that I’m a star too.
