Auld Lang Syne


"Told you I...wouldn't...forget...an old...acquaintance...like...you..., Vic...," the killer grunted, each stab in time with

the countdown on the television screen.  "How could I, seeing as how you set me up?" he asked the twitching body.

"Nothing to say?"

Tiny fireworks reflected in sightless eyes.

"Well, then...Happy New Year, Vic."
