Seeks to describe the interplay of life and prey through the eyes of a skyward hunter
My sight is keen.
A branch snaps far below,
I see much.

Checkered earth and
midnight beneath my eyes.

Snap and speed,
a distant shadow before
the star.

On course, adjust,
the wind caresses me
and screams the chase.

I see more.

Extend, tiny eyes
will not slow me.
My time and its time
become one.
