Waiting too long.
Followed your soul,

though cloudy and black.

Held tightly, and now clearer

there's no turning back.

Changed your mind,

and now back again.

So patient I wait to find,

if the heart is worth the mend.

What I want is tightly guarded,

held in my heart's locked clasp.

What was earlier so easily disregarded,

now may be within my grasp.

Waited too long,

just to let go now.

My will is not as strong,

but my heart wants the 'wow'.

Time goes by too fast,

too fast to be aware.

If I am coming in last,

or if I'm already there.
