Written to shine...
SHINE

The sun holds its shine
through a menacing thicket:
while darkness descends from on high.

All radiance hidden
by twilight’s derision --
albeit erased by the sky.

The Prince is forbidden
to kiss his beloved
‘til calling surrenders her cry.
