A little iambic I scribbled down a while ago
I buried you deep beneath the soil of
Mnemosyne: noble and fierce a captor.
Beneath summer breezes, warm and shining sun,
penetrating storms, hopeless endless rains,
monstrous cyclones, dustwinds of the earth,
vast mountain ranges of power and berth.
Unthinkable to man and wilder still:
the oceans and chasms of empty space,
all the void I can summon, night and day.
This I placed between myself and your name.
