A man who's heart has been swallowed by the ocean.
I sailed across a lonesome ship
Afloat the frigid sea.
Unhurried passed an iceberg brick
Blazed by the sun’s degree.

Oh! Soon to be fissure amour
I hear your Bergie-Seltzer’s weep.
You seek your heart for savior
But tepidly abide asleep;

And plead heat for absolution
Though time will not be beat.
Remain complete with no devotion
No longer will you be concrete.

Surrender now! Melt sedately,
Like the dust my ship has sweep.
Before you crumble brutally,
And join the rest in defeat

For love, like ice, dissolves away,
It only last a winter’s break—
And my lonely ship to come again
To only find another iceberg
