A simple poem; by inspecting its word choice carefully, its true meaning will unfold.
The Shift

Cold and freezing,
torturous and wet,
this is making me upset!
Blankets and fires,
snow and sadness,
this is complete madness!
Frigid and icy,
hot chocolate and flame,
this is so lame!
Time passes, and it was not fun,
but at least now, I can see the sun.
Easy and breezy,
Fun and sun,
at last, it is done!
Kids and running,
bat and ball,
this is even better than the fall!
Sun and nature,
sports and steak,
all during the most amazing school break!
