Does loving him mean losing myself a little? And what if I don't care?
I didn’t want to
depend on him
Women don’t have to
do that anymore
Mom always told me
“ Don’t let him change you-
Live your dreams.”
And so here I am.
This is my dream.
But in every step
And every breath
-Without him-
Every achievement
Every experience
Means nothing
until I tell him.
I’ve become, finally
A princess
A damsel in distress
As the lines between
Need and want
become narrow.
Does loving him
mean losing
Myself a little?
And what if
I don’t mind?
