Just a poem from the heart. Live and learn through experience.
Autumn comes to a conclusion,
Every last leaf, torn from its home,
Glides to its grave,
Where it will settle,
Beneath the pale, frigid frost.
The bitter air begins to cool,
As blood begins to boil,
Sirens echo throughout,
The pricey, public cells.
My reflection crumbles,
Along with its glass host,
Photographs lay face down,
Left homeless from the storm,
Crimson water,
Floods the walls,
Dripping in harmony,
With every tear drop.
Crumbling the foundation,
In which Love was once,
The tallest skyscraper,
Known to man.
From the ashes,
We will rise,
To be great again.
