monster or man?
With a snort and a grunt
the monster yowls
paws at the dust with strained growls
his teeth clench together
just as loud as the thunderous weather
his claws are pointed like tiny knives
made for killing, destroying lives
they go into the ground like rapturous shovels
he digs through the leaves to find animal tracks
All it finds is broken bones, skulls and snapped backs
his fur sways as he moves
as he walks his paws make grooves
his eyes are fixed into a permanent glare
when he finds his prey, he'll stop and stare
his ears prick up
his nose is raised into the air
then he roars with the power of the mighty bear
he'll eat his prey ripping and chewing
with every bite his anger grows faster in brewing
after he's finished he will sigh
change back to the man he once was
and lay down and cry
