Inspired by St. Augustine's quote, "Lord, make me chaste, just not right now."
I am walking down this path;
I'm lost and askew.
You're calling me to greatness,
But I'm too scared to hear you.

You make blind men see, and great people holy.
You call me and my mind begins to fret.
You have set for me a special purpose.
Lord, choose me...just not yet.

I try opening my heart to you,
But I just run away scared.
I want to be your hands and feet,
But I don't know if I am prepared.

You make blind men see and great people holy.
You call me and my mind beings to fret.
You have set for me a special purpose.
Lord, use me...just not yet.

What will it take for me to abandon myself to you?
To find that place in which you dwell.
To trust wholly in your divine love for me.
To know my selfish life is hell.

You are all I desire.
You are all I seek.
Make me the best me, Lord.
Give me your words to speak.

You make blind men see and great people holy.
You call me and my mind begins to fret.
You have set for me a special purpose.
Lord, choose me...right now!
