The perfect moment for a baseball player
I step up to the plate,
coach says I will do great.

The crowd is going wild,
I am feeling pretty mild.

The pitcher goes to the mound,
throws a ball faster than sound.

I load up to take a swing,
the ball goes soaring after the ding.

The fielders chase it, as fast as the wind,
against the wall, they are pinned.

A homerun was hit, the game was won,
now was the time to celebrate and have fun.

The pitcher felt as if he fell down stairs,
as our fans ran out of their chairs.
