The words of a loner amidst the walk of life where he longs for a pal of his choice
I long for a life with a pal of my choice
But I find no one to hear my voice
I wonder when I wonder why
I don’t find a pal even though I try

I long for them they make me cry
I find them numb I find them dry
I want to smile but they make me sigh
I find their promises a big big lie.

I welcome them they set me apart
I try to flow but they make me cart
I name them with love but they derange me with
libel of loutishness- upsetting and tart

I wish to meet but they are gone
I wish to hug but I have to mourn
For I miss them all but they don’t care
they keep their priorities unfilled and mare.

I wait for them for they are my friends
I wish I be au fait with their trends
That get a new pal and kick the old ones
All alone in the dark at the hard hitting turns.

I talk to stars I ask them why
I want to smile but I have to sigh
They say me pal you wont find us
Silent yet gleeful they teach you trust.

For I think now why I am born
On this earth with so much of slouch and mourn
I pray to god to send me to stars
Where I meet my pal I longed for years.

Trust No one for your friends can only give you pain……
