Tribute to those who died on 9/11
It was a day like any day,
A day to laugh, to work, to play.
With not a care, the day began,
The sun came up and greeted Man.
Without a clue we started out,
No fears, no worries, not a doubt.
Then it came, out of the blue,
A gripping terror we never knew.
The shattered glass, the twisting steel,
The terrorists' strike seemed so unreal.
Innocent lives lost for no reason
Began this terrible, sickening treason.
We still can hear the silent screams,
We see the bodies in our dreams.
Now we unite and we do say,
Prepare ye terrorists for judgment day!
