A dark poem about one's internal struggles.
Laying here, sinking into the couch
Counting all the change and souls I've found
Looking into the closet's growing shade
Hiding the skeletons I have made
The man in the mirror points a gun at me
Waiting hungrily for the end of my story
So now my skeleton starts to smile
Just a few more bones to add to the pile
The stairs start falling toward me
A sign of the failing gravity
So now I just float still in the air
And slowly suffocate there
All these evils that claim to be my own
Are the ones I invited into my home
So now I fear what I'll find within
Oh God, I'm Drowning in the Sink
