A mother is looking for her lost sun.

My dear beloved sun, why must you play?
Come out right now with no moments delay!
I searched everywhere; in the closet and yard,
And under my mattress you can’t be that far.
You were just here now my poor sun is lost,
I go home to sleep and but I turn and I toss.
How did I let my sun get out of sight?
He’s probably scared on this cold winter night.
Hours have passed but to my surprise,
I see something hinting my sun is outside.
I rush to my window and open the blinds
And smile as I look up, my sun has arrived.
