About how bowlers must try to cut down on their curve - simple, straightforward thinking.
As a matter of focus, using one’s double strength,
In the sport of bowling, means a lane of no length;
Your power and muscle can really toss that curve,
But the lack of production leads to losing one’s nerve…

Because shaping a curve requires lots of friction,
Between ball and lane, with some handy constriction –
But that performance of muscle is a detriment to reaching
The pins from afar, which we should not be teaching…

So collect all those pins by restricting that curve –
A straight, flowing hook is a ball that will serve!
Going under too much won’t flag the pins down,
So you must try to deal by dragging them down…
