Dealing with life.
Yesterday the world was full of hope and promise.
Youth was an anthem to which we marched.
Today is a disappointment and disillusionment
The promises are broken. The hope gone.
Tomorrow is a mystery.
Dare we try another day?
Dare we tempt the fates yet again?
Destiny, a fickle female, defeats us
Yet, we strive to outwit her.
Yes, we will face tomorrow
With all the hope and promise of yesterday
For gladness and satisfaction of that which yearn for.
