Poem I recently wrote trying to clear my head of things that still bother me yet shouldnt
The harshness of a cold winter fades into the dreariness of a chilled spring.
Trying to climb out of the snow back to hear the robins again sing
Attempting to walk but I can't seem to stop tripping.
Falling to the bottom of the hill my souls in a sling.

As the sun rises over the gloomy second season
It appears that I cannot find a reason
For in my veins I cannot get rid of the poison
That stumbles my feet on the way to the horizon

Looking forward to the heat of July
For only in the sun can I once again learn to fly
Knowing it is not worth the tears that I used to cry
My feet lift off and I soar into the sky

Setting out I walk towards a better day
What will happen will be whatever that may
Finally I can listen to the words that you say
Exploding out of my shell like the infamous McVeigh
