The irony of obeying elders in todays generation.
Honor thy father and thy mother
Be not unruly or disobedient
Heed thoughtfully the wisdom of thy elders
Abstain from childhood lusts

Oh, wretched child that you are
Without a hope have you entered this world
For who are you to learn from
Who are you to respect
But the evil that is within this world

To honor a father whom you know not
Who is put away for his hurtful and risky selfishness
To honor a mother of a hundred husbands
Who continually seeks desire within her bed

Oh, wretched child that you are
In great darkness you were manifested
Without a light to guide you
No voice to lead nor teach you
But what is right and what is wrong
The difference is so unclear
You know it not

And so thus you live
Not governed by right and wrong
Nor light and darkness
But by desire and a risky selfishness
For this is all you know
For you have honored your father and your mother
