My friend and I thought it would be a normal day, But boy were we shocked,
One hot summer day, My friend and I were taking a quick walk to the store. Suddenly we saw a bright blue blob on the other side of the road, and I said "Audrey, Is that a man, or a duffel bag?" "Lets go find out" She replied. So we scurry to the other side of the road. "IT'S A MAN!!!" Audrey screamed. "shhh!!!!" I told her. I peeked at his face a little to see if he was awake. His eyes were closed. Audrey nudged him with her foot very lightly to see if he was alright. The man didn't move an inch. We noticed that it didn't look as if he was breathing. So down the hill we ran searching for someone to call 911. So here we are, screaming and sprinting down the hill, and my neighbor, Bob walks out. "What's wrong?!" He asked curiously. "THERE IS A MAN BY THE BRIDGE. HE'S NOT BREATHING!!!!! CALL 911! HURRY!!!!" I screamed. Audrey and I ran back up to the man. The ambulance was there in seconds. The lifted him on a gurney to put him in the back. We watched in fear. After they took off with the man, Audrey and I knew we did something right, and that he was in good hands. We went back to my field and lied down until further news about the man. Suddenly we saw Bob coming toward us with a phone in the air. "GIRLS! YOU SAVED HIM!" He said happily. "What?" Audrey said scratching her head. "Turns out, the man had Alcohol Poisoning, if you girls wouldn't have had me call 911, they said he could be dead right now!" Bob said. Audrey and I got shocked looks on our faces and told Bob thanks for everything, and continued to the store. To think we thought we were going to have a normal day.... o_O
