got a new perspective on wizard of oz last time i watched it
I started to watch "The Wizard of Oz"
just because because because
but this time I was seeing it from a different perspective
I saw how Dorothy was ignored and how she was neglected
and when she landed in oz and accidentally killed someone's sister
she was praised as a hero cuz no one in munchkin land would miss her
and Glenda the good witch
she is a real bitch
putting stolen ruby slippers on Dorothy's feet
and the letting her take all the heat
she didn't even warn her about what she was going to do
and made it so she couldn't give them back even if she wanted to
then she left her standing there dumbfounded and confused
with the wrath of another witch upon her, I think she was used
she barely told her anything and then sent her on her way
to face the wicked witch alone at some later day
follow the yellow brick road that was all she said
it seems to me she was thrown to the lions to be fed
of course the lion has no courage and the scarecrow has no brain
and the tin man has no heart it is enough to drive you insane
and we know in the end that Glenda the good witch already knew
click your heels 3 times
and say there is no place like home is all she had to do
so you tell me which witch is really good and which one is really bad
the "wicked" one just wanted her sister's shoes
which may have been all she had
and the wizard, well he was just a man pretending to be a god
so I think it should be renamed "The wizard of Odd"
