Undesireable memories of childhood
The echos resound across the house so loudly.
Sometimes I worry they reach my neighbors ear.

The crying and yelling,
A daily affair.

Sometimes its smashing and breakings.
Sometimes its slapping and beatings.

The noise is so great.
Such a terrible sound.
I hate the noise.
We both hate the noise.

I hold my sister tight.
We go to our place.

Out of this noise we flee.
Sitting together and tightly,
We close our eyes
And enter into a place far from here.

The Safe Place we call it.
Our hands cover our ears for the escape.

We fly into the magical land of happiness
Where there is no harm or hurt upon any man.
We fly and fly,
Showing each other our magical finds.

No end to our imaginations,
We are happy at last.
Until the door opens,
The noise is now upon us.
