A poem inspired by a student that took her own life, she was too young and is very missed.
Life is something people take for granted.
Life is a God given gift to all.
One must cherish their life as they do a present on Christmas morning.
Make the most of your term on earth, and in time you will discover your worth.
Life passes faster than the last two minutes of a basketball game,
so enjoy every minute and second you are given.
Do not leave someone with regret because you may never get the chance to make amends.

When you’re young you make errors,
but don’t ever set up barriers.
When you are lost, find a special person to share your stories with.
Everyone has a special friend they turn to,
they will help you get back to where you want to go.

Life is short, make friends and do not isolate.
Friends are there to guide you when troubled,
don’t deny their devotion to you.
Friends are with you like peanut butter and jelly,
you and your best friends are stuck together,
you go everywhere and they are there for you.

Love your family, your closest friends and above all, love life.
