Didn't take long although wanted to get some feedback on my current style
Near but far,
To cover up the scar,
Of time past by,
As the present's dripped dry.

Soft yet hard,
To things left discard,
The spoken left unsaid,
To hesitation instead.

Peering through the crack of history,
Discovering all that has been written,
Yet the future left a mystery,
And may everyone be smitten.

From the chalk on the playground,
To the salt in the sea,
May the common be crowned,
And the royals to agree.

Dreading all that may become of us,
Or conquering the next step,
Fearing the incredible,
Shall this poem grant more pep.

Sing the song of your nation,
For the lords to bow their heads,
Not be led by temptation,
Tear the misfortune into shreds.

Myself and I cannot begin to explain,
That you shall grow to obtain,
The truth behind life,
Along with the mysterys on earth,
Shall not be solved by strife,
But were granted at birth.
