This is a poem written about the effects of antidepressants.
Plastic People World

A plastic bottle of plastic pills,
Make Plastic People in a plastic world.
See my plastic hair and my plastic smile
And my plastic clothes that never wrinkle.

I can stand and I can walk
On my plastic legs, in my plastic house.
See my plastic man, my plastic child
We all live together in our plastic world.

I can feel no joy,
I can feel no grief.
I feel no pain,
And I feel no peace.

But my plastic face smiles on and on.
And each morning in my plastic house,
I sip my coffee with my plastic lips
and swallow another plastic pill.
