Locking yourself away
Castle keep

You build dark towers on your fortress,
Scrape the skies upon that wall,
I shall not climb to dizzying heights,
A lesson learnt no longing to fall.

No gateway through or password true,
Perfect storm or deepest quake,
Safe within your castle keep,
Your greatest barricade I will not break.

No secret portal, no incantation,
No puzzle hidden or magic key,
If your not going to release yourself,
Then no man can set you free.

Looking up I see you standing,
Blue fire burning a coldness in your eyes,
The solitary guard to the vault of your heart,
This is the last time I say my goodbyes.
