A silly poem I wrote in high school for a prompt: a Shakespearean sonnet about a color.
The most significant color of a rainbow,
holding everything together.
Never angry, vengeful - always mellow;
A color that always lasts forever.

Deep as the sea, timeless as the sky,
beautiful in oh-so-many ways.
Peacefully knowledgeable, never asking why;
infinitely content to never say.

Deeply fulfilling, always satisfied,
humbled in its own amazing right.
Reminiscent of relationships never tried
and long-lost loves now out of sight

So when you two meet, don't be afraid,
you'll love and laugh with him, and memories you'll trade.
