About how every girl I like (and love) seems to be named Mary-Ann
Mary-ann this name's a curse
That leaves me not alone.

While I see her walking round
Wonder how her name would sound
Of all the girls I like her most
Her name is Mary-Ann, I'm cursed.

Mary-Ann's angelic face
Mary-Ann's beloved smile
Make me want to hold my breath
Make my whole cursed life worthwile.

I wish she'd understand me
I wish it was all so easy
The worst thing anyone could have
To love a girl that doesn't love you back.

Mary-Ann, you've got to realise
My love for you is hiding
Behind my blue-green eyes.

Mary-Ann, I've got to let you know
Until the end of time
I'll still love you so.

Mary-Ann, Mary-Ann, I have to be with you
My life just doesn't matter
Unless you love me too.
