While thinking of the concept of epiphany, I actually had one. Imagine that.
It is quiet now.
The void has consumed me.
Not even the wind stirs
the withered fragments of my mind.

There is no thought now.
The slate has been cleared.
Not even a voice echoes within
the empty chasm of my mind.

There is a ringing in my ears now.
Fingernails are drawn across blackboards.
A stampede of beasts rattles
the labyrinthine corridors of my mind.

There is a growing dawn now.
The void is receding.
Even the wind begins to whisper into
the darkest crevices of my mind.

There is so much noise now.
The story has consumed me.
Words fill the air, flooding even
the deepest corners of my mind.

It is brilliant now.
The light bulb has flashed.
Ink bleeds onto paper as epiphany strikes
from the depths of my mind.
