the long repercussions of a selfish act.
Your life you had, then gave away,

a bottle of pills for your final day.

I was only a child three years old,

love me you did, or so I was told.


Now I have a son of my own,

I would never leave him in replace of a stone.

The anger has gone; I wish you had stayed,

but I shall never forgive that final day.
