A final exchange to last a lifetime
Look at you and your determination,
Private frustration,
To carry on.

Words you speak at your inauguration,
To a higher location,
To the stars above.

Falling gently now into the ocean,
Has set in motion,
The last of us.

The lies you speak now do give the notion,
You’ve filled your quotient,
It’s done at last.

Just remember I’ll be here beside you,
To see your debut,
In the land beyond.

Follow one day, I’ll come and I’ll find you,
My life long pursuit,
To be as one.

You and I,
In the colour,
Of the young.
