Butterflies within cocoon

Emerge as soon as I see you

Stomach churning with desire

Heart racing; Face a-fire

Watch you grab her hand

Want so badly to take a stand

Poison leaks to my flies

I feel each of them slowly die

Turn my face back to my book

Can't afford another look
