Starting anew from the life you once new.
I left the life I knew
I made my life anew
Starting again from scratch
Adding to each wound a bigger patch

Thinking all was well
Living in my own hell
Waiting for my turn to shine
Watching the sands slowly run out of time

Sewing up my ever present past
Hoping time will help the pain pass
Nothing's with ease, all things come with a price
Taking bets on life, with just a roll of the dice

It seems I’ve lost again
In this infinite pilgrimage of sin
Pursuing contentment, sailing high on the open sea's
Fighting the malevolent waves that try to suffocate me

I capitulate to anguish
I lament all that used to be
Catastrophes dispersing like an extensive disease
Searching for sunshine in absolute obscurity

Looking back on the life I knew
Those dreams never wanting to conclude
Starting over merciless my heart apprehends doom
In allotment may I reconcile my many harrowing wounds
