She is somewhere near
I can almost hear
Standing in this rain
Night all dark again
Harbor lights are low
Water all aglow
Watch the dolphin splash
Showing just a flash
Rain is falling down
Drizzle all around
Feeling submerged
Deep underwater
Where `Mermaids breathe
Beneath the chop
Minds can merge and talk
Realize I'm wet
But not getting cold
Emotion will not stop
Does she know I'm here
Harbor seals bark
Do they bark for me
`Know about my love
Always up above
Sadness from the heart
Won't keep us apart
Thoughts `oft time tangle
All intertwined
Down here by the Sea
Rewind control of me
You sense my presence
You still feel my will

Swimming toward me
Splashing all around
Hearts skip a beat
Again, we do meet
It has been too long
Yet your sense is strong
Connection perfect
From within your look
Grace, is off the hook
Love is simply there
Held so light and tight
Blessed, sweet with care
Time ~marches too fast
And rainbows don't last

Safe survival mode

These two lives unfold

Rain keeps falling down
