Cramp poem
A Sparrow’s Song

He sings his many songs when he arrives.
He defines territory where they will thrive.

She will come next to share the space.
Building the cup shaped nest is her place.

A man walks with respect in the lonely wood.
His steps are sure and he now understood.

Transfixed was he upon this majestic sight.
It was a glimpse of nature of perfect delight.

He aimed his camera as his eyes gleamed.
He knew he had to capture this scene.

From this day forward his heart would stay.
He never imagined it would begin this way.
