a bleak poem about the insane end of a relationship
Bliss

The demons crowd around my brain.
Such bliss is this.
Such pain I've gained.
The darkness seeks to consume the light of the sane.

To know does not bring comfort, only sight.
Mere words speak with no crystal light.
They echo what's been done at night.
Moving too fast; then taking flight.

No more tears to waste on my womb of pain.
Welcome the silence of coldest rain.
It's over now to start again.
No reason to explain.

Pick an island on the nearest moon.
Instantly, we've grown so out of tune.
No place to stay and no place to room.
We can't pass here nor pass too soon.
