short poem
I’m a Leaf
You don’t see me. I give you shade
You let bugs eat at me, leave me with holes.
You step on me and ignore me.
Brush me off to the side
You didn’t find my beauty
I wither, and then you burn me.
I turn into blackened ash and float away.
