A love, I can feel, yet can't seem to give into.
Some time ago, I know I broke you. Never was it what I was intending to do. Nevertheless, it was you and your heart that I tore into.

I retrace the steps over again. Retrace and regret. Regret and retrace. Is what I left still standing there below the crimson colored sky? Still waiting to be opened? To be taken...

My love to you, always real yet always fleeting. And my sorrows to you are forever felt. Could I open that wound all over again, pour myself in and make it home? For even just a little while?

A promise to you that I've broken again and again. A love to you that's never died, yet never quite learned how to give in.
