The story of a girl as she watched her bestfriend destroy herself all for a boy.
We watched her fall right from the start

We watched him break her special heart

We saw her cry,

And we saw her die

And we didn't do anything at all.

As we sat there all night,

Talking about the girl who thought she wasn't liked

We watched her fall apart.

We watched her make a mess of herself,

We watched her break down.

We sat in that room with her,

As we watched her cry,

Watched her frown.

She built up the pain because she didn't know we knew,

She watched us lie thinking it was true

We built it up from within,

Hoping we could still pretend,

As we watched her fall apart.

Half hoping we didn't know,

Hoping we didn't see

Secretly she wished,

We wouldn't leave her be.

Hoping someone cared,

As we fought not to know

We watched her fall apart because she thought no one would know.

As it built up,

We watched her fall

When we thought,

We knew it all.

The girl is gone

And now it's our fault,

Because we were all watching,

Her fall apart.
