A poem about how your past self can make your new self feel covered by a mask.
Old lies die hard

Thoughts swirling in my head.
Is this reality?

Thoughts swirling in my head.
Should I do it again?

No it's just too easy.
Keep hanging on to the real me.

Thoughts swirling through my head .
But thoughts are only thoughts .

And words are only words.
But one too many lies.

Becomes a double life.
Can you see through the mask?
