All the wrong attention from all the right people can make you desperate to be noticed.
I really wish I had talent,
Talent unmatched by anyone else
I wish I was good at something,
Anything

Maybe someone would notice me?
Someone would see something in me?
Something worth seeing,
Somethine worth saving?

Why is that so much to ask?
Apparently it is,
Because no matter how hard I try to have something worth while,
It just shatters under my feet.
Breaks before it even has a change to grow

No one even knows,
How much it would mean to me if they noticed my hard work
Saw my tears as it slipped away
If only I had some way
Someway to show them
Make them look at see
Someway everyone around me could just make me free
No one even looks my way
They all just pass me by

I'll never have a gift like them to make other people care,
If anything all they ever do is just stare
Stare at me as I make noise,
Screaming at the top of my lungs.
I try to get them to make out the words
But its just noise to them:
Noise to you.
Your not listening,
You're never listening,
are you?

You don't care,
You could care less,
No matter how much I work,
Or how hard I try
You could fucking care less,
I'm not important,
I don't matter to you,
Or to anyone,
Do I?

You see me trying so hard,
But you just pass me by.
Nothing I do is good enough
You never look me in the eye.

I wish I had talent,
Maybe then you could see,
See the pain I feel everyday
Just because I'm me..
