An older woman watching a younger couple, remembers her passion.
Love's Mind Thief

My eyes see the handsome man holding you, his eyes in yours,

He is near you touching skin, placing his hands on your curves,

My heart beats with your laughter your whispers, I see the lust,

I stare at you and recall my passion, I watch I must,

Though my tongue leaps, my flaming heart tearing, I am struck mute,

Thumps in my ears, sweat dripping, the pulsing strain of the lute,

Your love I imagine my own, stealing passion, no breath to cry,

Love skips me, wretched body aroused, an old nosey woman am I,
