Symptoms of Bipolar Disorder

These are symptoms of bipolar disorder. I've received the diagnosis. Michael Jackson never received a diagnosis, but I can recognize the symptoms in his life, as well as mine.

Moodiness

Racing thoughts

Pressured, fast speech

Impulsivity

Excessive Shopping with no thought of consequences

Inability to maintain personal relationships

Times of grandiosity

Tendency to self-medicate

Difficulty sleeping

Need for little or no sleep with very productive time periods

Lack of appetite resulting in loss of weight

Likely to misuse drugs and/or alcohol at times

Periods of mania, extreme mania

Periods of depression, extreme depression

Withdrawal from associates and regular activities
