This poem is about the frustrations my mother has placed on me.
The darkness is so strong
With no sign of light
You stopped my heart from loving
Now we're left apart
And I am left to dark

The night, so silent
With the sound of the wind
You, so gone
Forcing me to bend

You've had one too many pills
One too many thrills
And one too many guys
To sit there and lie

So I am left with night
And still you have no sight
We spin around and 'round
But still you can't be found
